2 tbsp liquid sweetener of choice (honey or maple syrup work well)
1½ tbsp cocoa powder
Water to thin as needed
OPTIONAL TOPPINGS
Orange marmalade
Orange slices
Chocolate bark
Pretzels
Instructions
For the pancakes, add in all the dry ingredients in a medium bowl. Add in the wet ingredients and mix until batter forms. Spray your pan lightly with your favourite cooking spray and turn on stove on medium-high. Cook pancakes, around 1-2 minutes on each side.
For the sauce, mix the liquid sweetener with cocoa powder until combined. Then gradually mix in water a splash at a time until a pour-able consistency is reached.
Top and garnish your pancakes however you like and enjoy!
