Thanks for stopping by! We are The Rachels, two soul sisters from beautiful British Columbia.
Our recipes are always vegetarian and most often vegan and gluten-free. We see special diets as opportunities to experiment with ingredients in unconventional ways to achieve nourishment rather than a list of restrictions. Follow along as we show you practical ways to incorporate plant-based foods into your regimen.
Some of our most famous and most popular recipes include:

Adventure seeker. Vegetarian. Lover of animals, farmer’s markets, country music, next-day soreness post hard intervals, and good laughs. Hoping to pursue in naturopathic medicine and opening a cute little dog-friendly bake shop with lots of windows and fresh flowers everywhere.
My mom sparked my love for wholesome cooking and baking when I was 12 years old. She’d always have freshly baked goodies waiting for me when I came home from school, and I’d always watch her cook by the kitchen counter. Food is always better when savoured with others, and made with love and wholesome ingredients. I hope to celebrate my love for plant based foods and inspire you to eat well, live happy, and feel your best self!
Dessert enthusiast. Winnie the Pooh fanatic. Christ follower. The kinda gal that plays Christmas music in October. Lover of sunny days, dinner parties, miniature schnauzers, POP Pilates, long bike rides, and scenic hikes. You’ll often find me behind the camera and daydreaming about a future bakery.
As a child, my involvement in the kitchen went as far as preparing boxed cake mixes for cupcake day, making classic cinnamon buns with the help of a bread machine, and baking (usually terrible) sugar cookies every weekend with my best friend. I was introduced to the world of plant-based food when I met Chew. Since then, I’ve been transitioning to vegetarianism and discovered how to best nourish myself post-eating disorder (read my story here). My hope is to encourage balance between healthful eating and indulgences and to seek physical and mental well-being through a wholesome diet.
